Arte religioso en la Era Postmoderna: de la exclusión a la aceptación

Resumen

Las religiones monoteístas han moldeado el arte durante mucho tiempo de maneras distintas —mediante la abstracción, la imaginería sagrada o la caligrafía intrincada. Sin embargo, en la era moderna, el pensamiento secular relegó el arte religioso a los márgenes, privilegiando en su lugar ideales humanistas y racionales. Este artículo propone un giro pos-secular que reconsidere el arte religioso no como ideología, sino como un lenguaje estético poderoso que merece una atención renovada dentro de la cultura contemporánea.
