He tenido la oportunidad de que se me publique una fotografía por primera vez en mi vida en un catálogo llamado de “extrañamiento”.
Posteriormente tuve la oportunidad de vivir una experiencia particular y extraña al respecto. Algunas personas que vinieron a la exposición se me acercaban y me comentaban lo que les decía la imagen. Quedé sorprendida y extrañada gratamente pues sus reflexiones y comentarios eran profundos e interesantes.
Coincidiendo con mi experiencia, me pidieron que escribiera un artículo o reflexión sobre el impacto de las imágenes en la sociedad y decidí entonces hacer un ensayo y escribir mi experiencia con respecto a la publicación de la fotografía.
What does this picture tell you?
I have had the opportunity to publish a photograph made for mi, for the first time in my life in a catalog called “estrangement”. Later I had the opportunity to live a particularly and strange experience about it. Some people who came to the exhibition commented up to me what the image told them. I was pleasantly surprised and puzzled because their thoughts and comments were deep and interesting. Coinciding with my experience, I was asked to write an article or reflection on the impact of images in society and then decided to do an essay and write my experience with regard to the publication of photography
