El presente artículo analiza el Proyecto Arte y Moda desde una mirada estético-artística. Para ello resulta imprescindible identificar los antecedentes del proyecto en Cuba, así como determinar un aparato categorial, criterios de periodización y la confección de instrumentos de análisis elaborados para la selección y valoración de las piezas más significativas dentro del evento. A partir de estos criterios se hace visible la huella que el proyecto Arte y Moda ha dejado en la cultura cubana actual sustentada en su complejidad creativa y formal.

The present article analyzes of the Proyecto Arte y Moda from an aesthetic-artistic perspective. For it is indispensable to identify the antecedents of the project in Cuba, as well as to determine a categorial apparatus, periodization approaches and the making of analysis instruments elaborated for the selection and valuation of the most significant pieces inside the event. Starting from these approaches it becomes visible the mark that the Proyecto Arte y Moda has left in the current Cuban culture sustained in its creative and formal complexity
