Proposal for an analysis of the incidence of strings on the interpretation of the violin repertoire of N. Paganini

This article deals with the importance of the choice of violin strings to interpret the music of Nicolò Paganini under historically informed criteria. The main bibliographical sources for the construction of historical strings are visited and a comparison is made between bows and between historical strings and others of more widespread current use.
