There is no known documentary evidence of the disappeared Cinema Colon in Garrovillas (Caceres, Spain), so the study of its urban, architectural and popular leisure importance must be analysed from other sources. Among these sources, the archive of the local photographer Wifredo Lopez Vecino is particularly relevant. The analysis of its images allows us to discover the monumental desire of Herrerian inspiration of the building, something that conforms to the aesthetic parameters of the first years after the Spanish Civil War.
