Are there women in the rural world? What do rural women do? Normally, when we think about the rural world, we immediately remember images of strong men performing laborious and hard tasks in the fields and, only if we stop to think about where the women are, does the image of women performing domestic tasks or taking care of people land in our thoughts. of the youngest or the oldest people. It is vitally important to critically reflect on this problem and question why it happens and what patterns of behavior in society cause this situation of inequality in rural areas.
