Archive Policy
The journal ensures permanent access to the published issues and the articles contained in them in an open way. Likewise, all this data is deposited in the different national and international repositories (Dialnet, DOAJ, CIRC, etc.) in order to preserve the digital life of said publications.
But aware that a backup copy is not the same as digital preservation, the University of Jaén, to whose publishing house Tercio Creciente is affiliated, and particularly the HUM 862 research group, responsible for managing the journal, through methods of digital preservation, ensures the intellectual content of electronic archival documents, for long periods of time, maintaining its attributes such as integrity, authenticity, inalterability, originality, reliability and accessibility.
The primary method used is usually the complete recording of the material once and copying it once a year or every year and a half on another new support (rejuvenation).
Other resources that are used are the generation of all documents in more than one format that are widely used today. (This increases the likelihood that when a format becomes obsolete there will still be programs for its conversion: XML, HTML, EPUB, and PDF are examples of these.)
