Peer review policy

The originals will be subjected to blind peer review so that the review team will not know the authorship of the articles, specifically DOUBLE-BLIND. Once the evaluation team's reports have been completed, the authors will be informed of the acceptance or not of the articles for publication, as well as the appropriate modifications in cases that require structure or style.

The editorial team will assign the article to a minimum of two expert people who will review the article and make a report with a verdict of acceptance or rejection of the article, or, where appropriate, acceptance with improvement. For the definitive publication, the positive evaluation of both will be required. In case of not having a positive evaluation by the two evaluators, it will be submitted to a third evaluation. The final result will lead to the acceptance of the manuscript, the need to introduce corrections to re-evaluate the possible acceptance of the work or the rejection of its publication in the journal.

The review team must meet the following requirements and parameters necessary to carry out the review of articles:

  • They must carry out a correction report that will be provided to the author for subsequent review.
  • It must comply with the confidentiality policy.
  • Provide a correction free of ideological biases, whether political, racial, gender or sex.
  • The review must be carried out within the established times indicated by the editorial team.
  • It will warn of the existence of plagiarism in the articles or of the non-compliance with the legislation relating to copyright.

The articles will be sent through the OJS platform on which they have to register.

The Editorial Board will consider all external reports, and will be the one that makes the final decision on the publication or rejection of each article and will always communicate said decision to the authors.
