Abstract

Calving propose that the current situation of universities in Mexico, do not live oriented to fulfilling its functions more expensive process: research, teaching and diffusion of culture, but to gestionism, become the bureaucracy (or just experience and discursive sham). Next I problematize the call university autonomy as autonomy intervened in the interests of national oligarchies, associated with large transnational corporate capital. After, delivery to the analysis of neoliberal reforms in the University, which are dictated by financial capital, the engine of business transactions, using rudimentary forms of commodification of knowledge through
closed subjectivities, political and economic power territorially defined, standardization and massification products. Then the problem of the right to higher education is addressed. Finally
the approach of a necessary university and civic identity is outlined, based on a university with utopian realism, leading to an active and militant identity
