This article is the report of the artistic research that resulted in the happening carried out for the subject of Experimental Creation and Intermediate Artistic Practices of the AMUDI master's degree at UJA, whose main objective was to know how life and vital experiences of a group of women were in an environment as particular as that of an Andalusian farmhouse in the 40s, 50s, 60s and 70s of the last century. Memory of Cuevas was conceived as an artistic action based on the idea of recovering and valuing the memory of this group of women, born and raised (or descendants of them) in Cuevas: a farmhouse located in the Montes Orientales region of Granada and Jaén, currently uninhabited. The main premise of the happening was to bring these women together and give them a voice, celebrating a day of reunion, a party around food in a physical and emotional context, loaded with meaning and now abandoned, which would give rise to several audiovisual "artistic creations". and graphs.
