The Pedro Cano Foundation, located in Blanca (Murcia), develops various educational activities aimed at disseminating the renowned artist's work. This paper analyses an educational experience centred around the graphic interpretation of Italo Calvino's book Invisible Cities (1972), within the framework of I+D PID2021-123007OB-I00. The methodology used is qualitative, since it was necessary to adopt a structured observational approach to the dynamics that emerged during the actions and the participants' reflections. The main objective of the research focuses on the analysis of the creative processes involved during the execution of the actions and the artistic results obtained. Twenty-six secondary school students participated, with the collaboration of a teacher and the foundation staff. The results show that this type of initiative, which connects museum-based institutions with educational institutions, clearly fosters the development of creative abilities, the association of concepts and images, and the generation of ideas for creating unique visual narratives.
