Resumo

Este estudio aborda la evolución, características técnicas e importancia del dúo piano-guitarra en el contexto de la música académica y popular desde el siglo XIX hasta la actualidad. A partir de un enfoque histórico y analítico, se examinan las primeras interacciones entre ambos instrumentos, las limitaciones tímbricas y dinámicas que condicionan su interpretación conjunta, así como las estrategias adoptadas por compositores e intérpretes para lograr equilibrio sonoro. El trabajo también explora la expansión del repertorio en los siglos XX y XXI, incluyendo la influencia del jazz y la música popular, así como el papel del dúo en la enseñanza musical y su creciente presencia en conciertos, grabaciones y festivales internacionales. A través del análisis de obras representativas y del estudio de su recepción actual, se concluye que el dúo piano-guitarra ha alcanzado una consolidación significativa como formato versátil, expresivo y en constante desarrollo dentro del repertorio camerístico y multidisciplinar contemporáneo.
