This article aims to contribute to human-animal studies, specifically those focused on canine-human relationship, with the contribution of a multispecies etnography investigation about the conformation and characteristics of the bond between humans and dogs. Those contributions represent a new way to see the relationship with the dog and the dog itself, both being on the limits of what separates the animal and the human, transforming the dog in a liminal being that walks between both worlds. This article pretends to show how the dualistic western cosmology between nature and culture constantly conditions the relationship between both species.
