Este trabajo de investigación, aborda el estudio del fomento de la autoestima en grupos de niños y niñas con necesidades educativas especiales mediante el uso de las tecnologías de la imagen: fotografía y vídeo. Gracias a estas tecnologías de la imagen conseguimos resolver el inconveniente de las destrezas de otros medios como el dibujo o la pintura para conseguir que el alumnado con dificultades para desarrollarlas pueda utilizar la imagen y la creación visual para la realización de trabajos donde el análisis de la personalidad o la autoestima se ponen de manifiesto.
Developing self-esteem through arts education for peace and coexistence with children of special educational needs.
The present research studies the promotion of self-esteem in groups of children with special education needs through the use of technologies of digital images and video creation. These imaging technologies can help children with difficulties in arts such as drawing or painting to overcome their handicaps by means of image and visual creation in order to perform work which facilitates the study of personality and self-esteem.
