EDUCACIÓN PARA LA CIUDADANÍA. ¿Pensar la homosexualidad en clave educativa?

Abstract

The polemic started about the subject “Education for the Citizenship” that will be given during the academic school 2007/2008 is used by the authors of this article to reflect on the homosexuality as a cultural construction, as a prior step, to make evident how the real changes happened in the Spanish society have not been caused by the achievement managed by this group in institutional and social matter, that have obtained an unusual leadership, but for the evolution of the concept of gender has transformed the affective-sexual relationships and the traditional family and social roles’ assignation, all of them are the elements that have produced
a crisis of the patriarchal system, appearing other family models that enrich and diversify the social order. In the last analysis we will try to make a comparative study between the criticisms caused around the contexts of the subject and which are reflected in the textbooks as scenery that will offer us the possibility of deepening in the ideological and cultural background that support the argument.
