This article presents the approach, the methodology and the result developed in a specific project that understands artistic practice as a field of action that promotes the connection between research, educational action and collaborative processes. Illustrated Paths is a project that combines art and education based on the concepts of "limit / connection", based on the exploration of creative methodologies and the connection of commonly unrelated elements. On the one hand, various institutional spaces, such as an institute, an art school and a library; and on the other, various professional roles such as the artist, the educator, the historian, the mediator and the librarian. With all these elements in play, a series of activities were proposed that explored the limits and connections between the different agents involved.
